I’ m an animal lover but i never liked cats. yes their cute but i’ m allergic to them and they aren’t that affectionate as dogs, but recently I’ve discovered i’ m not allergic to them anymore when i went to some old lady’s house filled with cats and Lived.
She had several of them and they were all well taken care of; They didn’t smell and didn’t leave fur balls anywhere oh and they looked like stuff toys if they didn’t move. So now i have a thing for cats
here’s some of the breed of cats that I liked…
1. Persian
Persians are usually quiet and gentle. They are calm, undemanding and can be very affectionate. They are very placid and unlikely to scratch anyone. Because of the Persian’s serene nature they usually get on well with other pets and are great with children that are not too boisterous . They love to be stroked and patted and lap up any attention you give them.
2. Birman

Birmans are affectionate, intelligent, playful cats, and are the happiest in family or multi-pet households. Males, in particular, are often very talkative, but Birmans are known for their very quiet voices. The breed is a very hardy, healthy one, and is considered slow to mature, with most not attaining their full growth until they are 3 years of age. They are a placid cat and very loyal to their owners.
3. Himalayan

Along with their striking appearance, Himalayan cats have a wonderfully outgoing and engaging personality being extremely affectionate, playful and endearing. Many Himalayan fanciers would say they are the most outgoing of all Persian cats.
4. Russian Blue

The Russian Blue has a quiet sometimes shy although very affectionate personality. They are very soft spoken and you rarely hear them speak. They are very well suited to indoor life.
5. Tiffanie (long-haired Burmilla)

The Tiffanie is bright and fun-loving, but more laid back than its short hair relative in most cases. It is an ideal cat for single people or families, being quite happy to wait until you come home for attention. They are not a demanding cat, but still love to spend as much time with you as possible.
6. Turkish Van
The Turkish Van is extremely intelligent and imaginative. A Turkish cat is very lively, loving and demonstrative pet. They frequently chatter in answer to their owners, more often than not getting the last word in. Turkish Van cats often retrieve toy mice, balls and crumpled paper, and will exhaust their owners long before they tire themselves. An intriguing aspect of Turkish Vans is their insatiable curiosity for water, A few are not interested but the majority can be found dipping their paws, toys and bedding in water bowls, or sitting in sinks and baths waiting for the tap to be turned on. They will also assist with rituals like dishwashing and often sit entranced while their owners are showering.
7. Toyger

The Toyger has a laid back easy going temperament and makes a good companion. They are athletic and love to be around people. They are very suitable for most households and get on well with children and other pets. Toygers are intelligent and are easily trained. Many Toygers enjoy playing with water much like their wild cousins, tigers, who are strong swimmers and enjoy bathing in rivers, lakes and waterholes.
8. Bengal

Bengals are extremely intelligent cats who form strong bonds with their owners. They sometimes demand a lot of attention but they will always keep you entertained with their antics. They are are extremely affectionate Often described as having a ‘dog like’ personality they are easily trained. It is not difficult to train them to walk on a leash, fetch or even to shake hands.
9. Cymric

It is a friendly, affectionate, relaxed companion–an easy feline to share a home with. According to some sources the Cymric is somewhat doglike in its habits; it will play “fetch,” growl at an unidentified disturbance, and may follow its owner around.
10. Turkish Angora

The Turkish Angora is an extremely intelligent cat and they are very alert. They tend to have a sense of humor too. These cats are athletic and can jump or even walk to high places. You will often find them on top of bookshelves, strolling along the mantle piece or perching on the top of an open door.
