18 degrees below the horizon

Everyday I am stirred from my sleep by the sound of my alarm. as I listened to the crow of the rooster, I looked outside the window and saw nothing but darkness.  It’s 5:00 am – I waited for the sky to light up while I listen to my Mp3. And when the sun is finally visible, I go back to sleep…

Practically everyone desires tranquility, and everyone has a different view on how to acquire it.  It may be from the night sky filled with stars, from the ocean breeze complemented by the sound of the waves, or from the sunset with the intense hues in harmony giving that awe-inspiring scenery.

Among the many spectacles I have encountered, The astronomical dawn is the one i find  most alluring,  leaving me speechless and engrossed all throughout the moment. As the sky slowly lightens up having those pale shades of blue and white with some of the stars still visible, it is somewhat like a reminder that at that instance, for once…everything is alright.

It’s that point in time wherein the sky is no longer completely dark and the sun is exactly 18 degrees below the horizon.
